Today I Made a Difference

Salam great people! Have you ever wonder how much do you depend on people to live? And how much youve depend on God to live? In life, there are many phases that we gonna go through before we die and throughout those phases in life we actually depend on people. Like what Mitch wrote in Tuesdays with Morrie, “when were a baby we depend on people and when we are dying we depend also on people and in the middle of those two we depend more on people.” So yeah, I agree to what he said because when we were a baby we depend on our Mothers and all those adults who took care of us and when we are dying, we’re old enough to even take care of ourselves. We’re practically like babies without napkins and some even act like one. Hence yeah, we need people again to help us out. And the middle phases, the schooling years, college years, adulthood, working days and etc, we do depend more on people to survive. But, do we ever realized how much we got from people? I’m not saying that people are insincere or anything, its just that I think it would be better for us to depend more on God than people. If we depend too much on people, we’ll get disappointed. If we depend on God, we wont get disappointed. For instance, for those youngsters who blindly believe and depend much upon their boyfriends and girlfriends and ended up being depressed and live an unhappy road of life. Even if you open a business with your best friend, he could also betrays you. A wife could even kills her husband for money. And all those stories of people depend on people and got stabbed and all. As for me, I think I once felt this kinda disappointment of trusting and depending much on someone and that particular person brought me into a some kind different world and in a way had made me far a little from God. See, depending too much on people is difficult. Just dont attached much with the dunya things to be safe! So yeah, what I wanna tell ya is that trust God more than people(even your spouses), depend on God than people because everything comes from Him. You know, when youre trying to be good, all those good people will surround you and help you out. Thats what God will give you when you depend on Him. Pray to him, nonstop and He will always answer. He’ll never make you disappointed like how human beings do. So, in every phase of life whether the difficult ones nor the easiest one, depend on Him and you’ll never get disappointed. Be optimistic with whatever God brings to you because the One who’s giving you difficulties is the One who’s giving you all the goods and nikmah. May Allah always be with all of us, Ameen :)
